An unconfirmed story appeared today on TechCrunch indicating that Google or MySpace will announce a $1 Billion acquisition of Bebo.

TechCrunch goes into detail why this move would almost double Google’s social network audience with Bebo sitting along side potential stable mate Orkut. On the other hand if MySpace can join hands with Bebo it will create the world’s largest English speaking network.
